On the eastern side of the University of Toronto, there is a beautiful walkway that runs from Hoskin Avenue to Bloor Street. The place earned this moniker due to its proximity to the university and as a favourite contemplation spot to its students and professors over the years.
In olden days, there was a small creek that used to run through this area. This natural waterway 'Taddle Creek' was gradually lost due to city growth.
The walkway is surrounded by the Royal Ontario Museum, Royal Conservatory of Music and several university buildings.
