George Boileau's work 'Lineal Order' at 71 Simcoe Street consists of three pieces; a man, its shadow on the back wall and a child. The man and the child both look emaciated and are wearing only long coats.
According to the artist's interpretation, it is about life across generations. The boy has yet to make his impression on the world, while man's imprint can be seen on the wall behind. But I am not sure why both figures appear starved or wearing only coats. In any case, it is an intriguing piece of work that makes you stop and think about it.
